"Live Acoustic America" is one of the best live albums around. If
you've every liked a HoJo song, you'll probably flip for this CD.
Recorded straight though at the Variety Arts Theatre in Los Angeles
during his 1993 tour, this clean recording doesn't leave you
feeling like you're part of the crowd at the show. "Live Acoustic
America" feels like you've brought Howard right into your living
room for a private concert.
Featured on Live are all your HoJo classics, with a twist. Not only
are acoustic shows naturally more stripped down, but "No One is to
Blame," "What is Love," and "New Song" are completely rearranged.
You also get a cover of the Beatles' "Come Together" and an
intimate feeling not usually present on live albums.
We still look forward to the release of "Angels and Lovers" in the
fall of 1996. Until then, try to catch HoJo on his current tour and
pick up "Live Acoustic America" and bring him home.
