One of the most ecclectic releases in recent memory has to be "VIVA! La
Woman" by Cibo Matto. Blending an incredible amount of samples with
innovative music, rythms, and screaming lyrics certainly gets your
attention. Their songs have a fascination with food themes which adds to
their quirkiness. One of many recent U.S. releases by Japanese women,
Cibo Matto is a great find for people fond of the current Japanese
invasion or just by people looking for something original and not so
overhyped. It's a gr eat CD for anyone looking for the unusual.
