"Me. Me. Me."

The long-awaited premier full-length release of Mark "Superstar" Robinson, Bridget Cross, and Gabriel Stout is available. This release should be especially enjoyable for "old-school" 4AD fans, due to its strong resemblance to the classic work of Clan of Xymox, The Wolfgang Press, and Colourbox. This is particularly true of "I Hate Milk," "World Cup Fever," and "You Sweet Little Heartbreaker."

Keeping with the they-sound-like-former-4AD-artists theme, much of the rest of the CD sounds surprisingly like the 4AD band "Unrest." One of the best songs on the album is "Neely." All in all, Mark and company deliver an exceptional performance. The amount of work provided by Mark both in the writing, performing, and mixing is what really makes this CD stand out as one of the top three 4AD releases of 1995.
