Boy, you don't find formula rock much better than this. It's so
simple, it's almost easy! All you have to do is copy the
guitar-grunge and punk like-percussion of just about every
"alternative" band in the past 4 years, and you have yourself a
major-label band! Unfortunately, it doesn't make for an album worth
your time to listen to. Gee, I haven't heard anything like Crumb
since all those Stone Temple Pilots, Live, Nirvana, Pearl Jam, and
Face to Face CDs! This album is nothing original. Maybe you're a
big grunge-wanna-be fan, in that case, I recommend you purchase 3
copies of "Romance is a Slowdance." For you thinkers out there,
just one look at the title of the album should be enough of a
warning flag to avoid this CD. If you get past that line of
defense, the fact that you fall asleep at your record store's
listening station should be the final nail in the coffin for not
purchasing this CD.
